Each auto manufacturer has recommended services for their vehicles. It's usually listed in the driver's manual. But, if you bought your Silverado used, it may not have a manual. Or, maybe you don't feel like scanning through the pages to see when your Silverado needs attention. Don't worry. Here's the Cliff's Notes.

Rain, sleet, or shine. It's best to bring your Silverado to our Chevy repair center every 7,500 miles. This is a general service that should happen a few times throughout the year. This is your general oil change and filter. In addition, it's customary to get your tires checked as well. That's rotation, wheel balancing, and alignment if needed.

This helps keep your cabin air clean by eliminating pollen, dirt, and dust that can seep through the ventilation system.

Now, our service technicians will get deeper into your vehicle. They'll get underneath the hood and inspect your spark plug wires and spark plug boots. This equipment might still be in good condition at this point, so this doesn't mean there's an automatic need for replacement. It's just a good rule of thumb to inspect these components this far into ownership.
