Using Chevrolet Keyless Start

Keyless Start can make it easier than ever to start your vehicle before driving all over Midland. Here is how you can use Keyless Start to start your vehicle:

  • With the key fob inside the vehicle, press down on the brake pedal (or the clutch if your vehicle has a manual transmission)
  • Press the Stop/Start or Power button. The green indicator on the button will illuminate. The vehicle will then start.
  • Pressing down on the Stop/Start or Power button without pressing down on the brake pedal will put the vehicle in Accessory mode.

 

To use Keyless Start to shut down the vehicle:

  • Shift the vehicle into Park.
  • Press the Power button.

 

How to Use Remote Start

If your vehicle has Remote Start, here is how to use it in Bay City:

  • Look for the looping arrow on your key fob.
  • Press the button two times.
  • The turn signals will flash to confirm that Remote Start worked.
  • The vehicle will turn off after 20 minutes unless you stop remote start or turn the vehicle on.
  • Press the brake pedal and the Power button to drive the vehicle.

 

To cancel remote start:

  • Press the looping arrow button on the key fob.
  • The parking lamps will turn off.
  • Turn on the hazard lights, then turn the vehicle on and off.
